Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30, 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is an American musician, rapper and songwriter as well as record producer. His stage name is the name of a favorite uncle, with the initials and the first name (of Kid Cudi), of his main inspiration, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, and also an agreement for publishing with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint record deal with Epic Records and T.I. 's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released his first full-length project, Owl Pharaoh. Then, he was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the debut album of his studio. The hit song, "Antidote", was included on the album. His second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number one album on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) with Quavo under the name of Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released late 2019 on Cactus Jack Records. It made it to the top of the Billboard 200. After the single "Franchise" featuring Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it topped the 200-page chart on Billboard. Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to have three singles reach number one in less than one year in 2020.
