Abigale Lee Miller bio
Abigale Lee Miller (born on the 21st of September, 1965), is an American choreographer, dance instructor, and reality TV personality. She was the creator of the Abby Lee Dance Company, that was a part of the reality TV show Dance Moms for eight seasons. Miller pleaded guilty in June of 2016 to felony bankruptcy fraud. She was sentenced for one year and a day in federal prison, and released on the 27th of March in 2018. In April of 2018, she was diagnosed with lymphoma that is a type of cancer that makes it impossible to walk. In order to move about she is now using a wheelchair. Miller was raised in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. She was a dancer , and was a student under her mother at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. In 1980, when she was 14, Miller was assigned the task for choreographing and coaching for one of the teams that her mother was directing for dance competition. Miller was eventually able to take over the studioand changed its name to Reign Dance Productions. Miller was certified by Dance Masters of America in 1986, and became a part of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter 10 in February 2012. However, her membership was terminated by DMA in February 2012 when the DMA declared that Miller's reality TV series Dance Moms was "a complete misrepresentation of dance teachers and students and was detrimental to the dance industry."
